This year, QuickSTAT was thrilled to be nominated for two Asia Pacific Cell & Gene Therapy Excellence Awards (ACGTEA). Thanks to our customers, I’m delighted to share that we won both the Best Cell & Gene Therapy Supplier Award: Cold Chain Logistics and Best Cell & Gene Therapy Award: Supply Chain Excellence.
Award winners were recognized in a special ceremony held in Singapore on the 14th September, which coincided with the sixth Cell & Gene Therapy World Asia 2022 conference. The show was exciting, as always, as it gives us the opportunity to connect with customers and other industry leaders – but certainly a highlight for me was having the privilege of accepting these awards, along with my colleague Richard Senior, on behalf of the entire QuickSTAT team.
ACGTEA looks for exceptional bioprocessing experts, organizations and technologies that help biomanufacturers add speed, reduce costs and improve quality as they strive for excellence in the field. Those honored are considered extraordinary leaders, today’s trendsetters and an inspiration for the visionaries of tomorrow. For QuickSTAT, these awards mean we are successfully realizing our goal of delivering best-in-class logistics – with patient safety at the center – to CGT innovators all over the world.
Having been part of this innovative industry from the very beginning, QuickSTAT has long been committed to making investments in technology and infrastructure to better support our customers. This is particularly true in Asia, where the CGT market has been growing rapidly over the last several years. That’s one of the reasons why QuickSTAT has been busy strengthening its presence across the region, in key healthcare markets such as Singapore, China, Japan, Korea, Australia etc. Most recently, for example, we opened a newly expanded control tower and ISO-certified, GxP and GDP-compliant conditioning facility in Singapore. Here QuickSTAT provides conditioning services for a wide range of packaging solutions, including Credo and LN2 dry shippers. The site also includes a controlled-ambient warehouse and in-transit storage for vaccines, investigational drugs, patient clinical specimens and APIs. Of course, our customers also have access to QuickSTAT’s team of life science logistics experts.
In addition to this, we continue to improve on our industry-leading life science logistics platform: QuickOnline 2.0. Rebuilt from the ground up, our next-gen software helps clients improve internal efficiency by making it faster and easier to place an order for a shipment. Once in transit, the system provides point-by-point visibility into where shipments are at every step of their journey.
These investments are part of a larger pharma healthcare strategy to deliver seamless, end-to-end logistics solutions to pharma-chain customers throughout APAC as well as around the globe.
