Robert Tungatt, Regulatory Compliance and Cold Chain Excellence Specialist Joins QuickSTAT | Clinical Trial & Cold Chain Logistics

Robert Tungatt has joined QuickSTAT as the Global Director of Regulatory Compliance and Cold Chain Excellence. Robert’s unique expertise will help support QuickSTAT’s accelerated growth and global expansion in the pharmaceutical supply chain logistics arena.

With the ever-changing regulatory landscape in Health Care and Pharmaceutical transportation, he will help to ensure that Quick's worldwide clients are compliant and utilize best practices in logistics and cold chain. He will drive continual improvements to ensure timely and safe delivery of urgent and life-saving shipments, where integrity, speed, and high performance levels are essential.

Mr. Tungatt brings a wealth of experience in the specialist logistics and transportation arena, having spent almost 30 years in the industry, with his primary focus in the Healthcare and Life Science industries. His experience includes management positions in Customer Service, Operations and establishing Quality Assurance and Compliance functions under ISO9001 at Marken Limited, where he helped to ensure global compliance. His expertise also includes US and European Aviation Security Compliance.

He is involved in many industry forums, and has helped to develop standards and best practices to help ensure patient safety through a disciplined and best practice mindset. Mr. Tungatt is an active member of AICES (Association of Courier and Express Services), the European Compliance Association and the PDA. Robert is a member of the IATA Time and Temperature Task Force, which is responsible for the Perishable Cargo Regulations, Chapter 17 Air Transport Logistics for Time and Temperature Sensitive Healthcare Products.
